LEIGH BLANCHARD
Driven by the urge to explore the nature of photography, Leigh Blanchard's work has always had an underlying theme of investigating the way the camera “sees” and allows her to see the world. She will use any material or process to further her exploration of human perception, including shooting through material like glass, utilizing Photoshop and 3D software and creating dioramas. Typology, dreams, control/obsession are just a few of the concepts that Leigh loves to explore and that make photography endlessly exciting. She hopes that her art will consistently question perspective and challenge the viewer to see the world in a new way.
