CAITLIN MILLER
Caitlin Miller crafts sculptures, installations and performances that touch on issues of identity, gender, sexuality, trauma, politics, and our changing bodies. Using light, the body, photography and transparency as materials, she searches to find the beginning and end of memory and experience. Light plays a crucial role, transforming from a merely functional element to a tool for talking about personal politics and history. It exposes that which isn’t seen, and affects the way a sculpture interacts with an audience.
