Me, Myself and Eye, our monthly music-meets-art series curated by Michel Gentile, presents Simon Jermyn on guitar and Chet Doxas on tenor saxophone.

Simon Jermyn is an electric bassist/guitarist and composer from Ireland, living in Brooklyn. Simon has played extensively on the improvised music scene, both solo and with various incarnations of his band Trot-a-Mouse. Along with an affable, generous spirit, Simon has broad tastes, ranging from Elizabethan laments to African music, from ambient soundscapes to soul classics.

Chet Doxas is quickly becoming one of the most sought-after saxophonists of his generation. He is best known for his ability to add his unique voice to a wide variety of musical settings and styles. Raised in Montreal in a musical family, Chet has appeared on over one hundred recordings and has released seven albums as a leader and co-leader. When he is not touring, he can be found in his Brooklyn recording studio working on his next project.

Please join us on Sunday to experience an afternoon of adventurous sounds influenced by the artwork of artist Shanee Epstein. $15 suggested donation is appreciated.
